Longest Resident Spotlight

Meet Tex! This 5-year-old guy has had quite the journey. Tex was originally rescued after a major flood in Texas and spent time at another shelter before making his way to us last December. Now, as our longest resident, he’s patiently waiting for a family who sees just how special he is. Tex is a shy guy at first, but once he knows you, he’s loyal, loving, and ready to be your new best friend. Whether it’s swimming at the beach or hiking a new trail, Tex is always up for an outdoor adventure. He’s great with other dogs, prefers older kids who can respect his space when he needs it, and he might even do well with a cat after a slow introduction.
