Longest Resident Spotlight

Meet Dewbert! This 2-year-old handsome hunk has spent most of his life in a shelter. Dewbert came to us as a puppy, was adopted, but sadly returned when he grew bigger than expected. Since then, he’s been in and out of our shelter, but we know his family is out there. Dewbert can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he’s an absolute goofball and playful. He’s great on leash and always ready for an adventure. Dewbert would thrive in an active home and do best with older kids who can keep up with his energy and understand that he might need a little time to decompress from the stress of shelter life. He prefers to be your one and only dog, but may do well with a cat after a slow introduction. Dewbert’s ready to leave shelter life behind and be someone’s sidekick for hikes, playtime, and couch snuggles. Could that be you?
