Longest Resident Spotlight

Meet Eli! This 2.5-year-old guy came into our care in July after being released from federal custody following being rescued from an alleged dog-fighting ring. Despite everything he’s been through, Eli is a gentle, shy soul who has been slowly coming out of his shell and showing us just how loving and goofy he can be. Eli is absolutely a couch potato at heart, and he also has a fun side. He loves wearing hats and costumes and looks adorable doing it. He would thrive in a home with another friendly dog who can help guide him, build his confidence, and show him how wonderful life as a loved pet can be. With a slow introduction, he may also do well with cats. He hasn’t been around kids yet, but he may do best in a home with older children who can give him the space he needs to feel safe and comfortable as he continues to blossom.
