Oliver is a handsome 7-year-old boy with a gorgeous black coat who has been waiting for a new home since early July after his owner sadly passed away.

His life changed in an instant, and Oliver is doing his best to adjust to life at the SPCA of Brevard. Right now, he’s spending his days in one of our free-roam cat rooms, where he can be a little shy and tends to keep to himself. After everything he’s been through, we think that’s pretty understandable.

Oliver is looking for a family who will give him the time and space he needs to warm up at his own pace. With a little patience, plenty of love and probably a few extra treats, we’re hopeful he’ll eventually trade his favorite hiding spot for a cozy place right next to his new family on the couch.

Oliver is litter box trained and does well with other cats.
